So for example, if you are a wedding photography in Hawaii, you would want your website to show up in Google when someone types in “wedding photographer in Hawaii”.
If you think about it, it’s actually quite simple. If someone is searching Google for a wedding photographer and your website is ranked at the top of the list, who do you think they are going to call? Now, if your website is not showing up, then they are going to call your competition.
There are a few things that need to be done to your website in order to optimize it to show up in your local area, and a few of those things are very easy. For the basics, you want to have your keywords, which in this example would be “hawaii” and “wedding photographer” in the title of your site. So you might put something like “James Smith Hawaii Wedding Photography Services” or something like that.
In addition to that, you also want to make sure that the content on your page is about the wedding photography services you offer and your location. Google and the other search engines need to be able to read your website and see that you offer wedding photography services and that you are located in Hawaii.
